Inspired by Byzantine and Medieval crucifixes which were a standard item of jewellery for both sexes and all classes, though made in a variety of materials from wood to gold. The original type would have been constructed from uncut diamond and gold. N.B. This picture shows the natural patina which has developed over a six-month period. A copper piece can be maintained in it's original bright and shiny state by regular polishing - it's a matter of personal preference.
